Tarter Krinsky & Drogin recently partnered with Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP to co-sponsor a breakfast event featuring a panel discussion centered around Celebrating Women in Consumer Products, highlighting the contributions of women to the consumer products industry.
Tarter Krinsky & Drogin partner Gina Piazza attended the event with several other partners and associates of the firm. Here are some of Gina’s takeaways from the panel discussion:
1. Estelle Bailey-Babenzien, Co-Founder, Interiors & Experience Designer of NOAH boldly shared her journey and commitment to creating a holistic brand that gives back to the universe and campaigns around meaningful causes.
2. When asked how her company stands out from the competition, Maureen Lippe, CEO and Founder of Lippe Taylor, stressed that one of her company’s most valuable assets is its employees and the relationships they have built with her clientele. Maureen strives to keep her employees happy and healthy in an effort to keep them committed to the company and maintain continuity for the organization.
3. Divya Gugnani, Co-Founder and CEO of Wander Beauty, believed in herself and her products and refused to take no for answer. When a buyer tried to discourage her from launching a certain product she was not discouraged, but rather motivated to prove that the product was needed and worked. Ultimately, the company sold over 5 million units!
4. Lucy Wallace Eustice, Co-Founder of MZ Wallace, who has created an amazing line of bags and accessories, hit home with many of the women in the room when she said “if I am going to be this stressed out I want to own it!”
This was an inspiring event and with moving stories shared by an impressive panel of women who have pursued their dreams and successfully achieved their career goals.
Special shout out to Carolyn Sekosan for her lively and engaging moderation and thank you to our event partner Anchin for hosting the event at their conference facility. Thank you to all the participants for dedicating their time and for their raffle contributions. Lastly, thank you to everyone that donated to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
