TKD’s Work in Repealing a Prohibition-Era Law for Nitehawk Cinema Featured in The New York Times

Our client, Williamsburg, Brooklyn-based Nitehawk Cinema was featured in The New York Times for blazing the trail to repeal a Prohibition-era law banning the sale of alcohol in movie theaters. In 2011, Nitehawk, guided by TKD, successfully lobbied for the law’s repeal. The TKD team was led by Construction Group chair David Pfeffer.
