David Pfeffer Moderates Seminar On University Facility Construction

David J. Pfeffer, Co-chair of the Construction Practice, moderated “New Developments in Higher Education,” a seminar hosted by the Greater New York Construction User Council. GNYCUC, a not-for-profit organization that advances the practical needs of owners and users of construction and construction-related services, is focused on improving the management and cost-effectiveness of construction and related practices.

The panel discussion was focused on new developments in university facility construction and how construction and design professionals can plan for the future. The program addressed budget and financing issues surrounding development plans and the needs of universities that are seeking to expand their facilities. The discussion, which addressed issues relevant to private, public and institutional real estate owners, facility managers as well as corporate and institutional tenants, also provided valuable information for design, engineering, and project management professionals.

David directs his practice at serving the commercial real estate and construction industry, focusing on project delivery strategies and the preparation and negotiation of design, construction and related contracts for private and public real estate development projects.
