Client Secures New Financing for Condominium Project

April 14, 2010

Our client, a real estate developer, recently needed new funding to recapitalize a condominium project in Manhattan that was close to completion. After several days of intense negotiations with our client's new and existing lenders, Tarter Krinsky & Drogin was able to successfully modify the senior debt and close on the new subordinate loan in a very short period of time. As a result, our client obtained immediate access to the funds needed to complete construction and, more importantly, was able to protect its investment in the project.

The attorneys who handled this matter for our client included: William W. Weisner, a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Banking and Finance Practices; Aaron Abraham, a Partner who co-chairs the Construction Practice; and Michael R. Wood, an Associate in the Construction and Real Estate Practices.
