On June 11, Immigration partner Roxanne Levine will present the CLE program, “H-1B Visas – 2020 Update,” which will explore the history of the H1-B visa program, its current interpretations and policy memos affecting implementation. The H-1B program, administered by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), has served as the backbone to furnish U.S. corporations with highly skilled and educated foreign talent.
During the presentation, which is part of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s CLE program series, Roxanne will provide a step-by-step guide to understanding the H-1B process including the current trends in H-1B processing, preparing and submitting an H-1B petition, the H-1B cap and the newly instituted H-1B preregistration program and the minimum criteria for H-1B eligibility. She will also discuss the alternatives for the H-1B if the individual is not selected in the H-1B visa lottery.
The program, held at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s office at 1350 Broadway, will provide 1 credit in the Professional Practice category.
