Careers

A clear path for growth.

Meet Bill Weisner

Bill Weisner, Partner and Chair of Real Estate Group

Why did you choose Tarter Krinsky & Drogin?
I was looking for a firm based in NYC that primarily served the middle market and had a wide range of practice areas, with the depth to support my practice. Not only did the firm check all those boxes, it also is a growing, dynamic firm with very positive energy.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I enjoy the problem solving that is a big part of my work every day in the office. Working with clients and colleagues to identify and resolve issues is intellectually engaging and is a good way to develop professional relationships. In working on transactional matters, it is satisfying to help clients achieve their goals.

How would you describe working at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin?
At Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, people can feel free to relax and be themselves. There is no need to conform to a particular firm culture or mode of behavior. There is a lot of room for individuality, personal expression and autonomy. The office is relaxed, co-workers are very helpful, and in general there is a lot of collaboration. Also, the firm is not too big, so it is still possible to know everyone at the firm, regardless of their role or practice area.

What opportunities are offered to you at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin that you value the most?

The ability to be able to attend and host industry events is so important and the support and enthusiasm for such efforts is wonderful. A perfect example is the firm hosting a CLE class that I have taught for several years. I was able to showcase my experience and the firm as well. The great support for that event and the fact that so many of our attorneys attended was very rewarding.

Tarter Krinsky & Drogin offers clients the depth and level of sophistication of a large firm combined with exceptional partner-level attention. Not stifled by tradition, our attorneys take a holistic approach to the practice of law, collaborating with one another across disciplines to service clients with their immediate needs and anticipate their future business challenges.

Many of our senior lawyers have come from larger firms because they value our culture, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to provide clients with cohesive legal counsel and a depth of knowledge rarely found at firms our size.

For example, Bill Weisner is a partner and the chair of the Real Estate practice at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin. He has worked at the full range of law firms - Big Law, small law and mid-size law, and he says he finds mid-size firms - particularly Tarter Krinsky & Drogin - to be the right place for him. When seeking a new professional home, he says, "I was looking for a firm based in NYC that primarily served the middle market and had a wide range of practice areas, with the depth to support my practice. Not only did the firm check all those boxes, it also is a growing, dynamic firm with very positive energy." Read on to find out more about why he enjoys working at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin.
