Jeffrey A. Lowin is a counsel in the Trusts & Estates Group where he advises individual clients, families at times of transition, owners of closely held businesses, estates and private foundations in the administration of estates and trusts.
He handles all facets of the transfer of assets and the administration of decedent’s estates, personal income taxes and shifts in control of family businesses. He counsels clients throughout the United States, with a particular focus in New York and Florida.
Jeffrey’s more than 30 years of experience in working with these families’ needs – and the occasional disputes they create – has guided him in the drafting of thousands of wills and trust agreements, including trusts for grandchildren, trusts of business interests, trusts for the U.S., assets of foreign individuals, and trusts of life insurance, as well as charitable remainder trusts, family partnerships and limited liability companies.
