Christopher Cobb is of Counsel in the Cooperative and Condominium and Construction Practice Groups. He represents clients in real estate-related litigation and provides general counseling to cooperatives and condominium boards, managing agents, and various others with interests in real property.

Christopher is a seasoned litigator of construction defect cases, alterations disputes and a variety of other real estate and general commercial matters at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in arbitration and mediation forums. His results-oriented approach to litigation and dispute resolution has proven successful in a wide variety of matters, including:

Representative Matters:

  • 61 W. 62 Owners Corp. v CGM EMP LLC, 77 A.D.3d 330 (1st Dep’t 2010), aff’d as mod 16 N.Y.3d 822 (2011) (securing preliminary injunction from the Court of Appeals , which held that the late-night recurrence of excessive noise from a nearby rooftop bar is adequate grounds for a claim of private nuisance).
  • Gordon v. Board of Managers of the 18 East 12th Street Condominium; 102 A.D.3d 521 (1st Dep’t 2013) (obtaining summary judgment for condominium board in case involving cost liability for the collapse of a concrete structural slab during the course of unit owner alterations work).
